German Court Fully Dismisses Anti-Competitive Claims Against Tageos
Montpellier, France, June 18, 2024 - Tageos, a global leader in sustainable, high-performance RFID inlays and tags, today announced that all allegations of anticompetitive practices brought against the company by Identiv have been fully dismissed by the competent court in Munich, Germany.
From the outset, Tageos rejected all allegations as completely unfounded and expressed its full interest in and support for a thorough investigation and clarification. In a detailed decision, the court has now clarified that all allegations and accusations regarding the alleged misappropriation of trade secrets and confidential information are completely unfounded. In its decision of June 11, 2024 (Case No. 33 O 2836/24), the Munich Regional Court therefore rejected Identiv's application for a preliminary injunction in its entirety as unfounded.
With the decision of the Munich Regional Court and its findings, the proceedings are concluded. The court's dismissal of the allegations reaffirms Tageos' commitment to the highest ethical business practices and values with full integrity of the entire company and its employees towards all customers and market partners.
