Senior Business Development Director - DACH
Working as Senior Business Development Director, you will:
- Identifying new business opportunities and fostering client and supplier relationships,
- Driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base,
- Creating and implementing effective sales strategies, conducting market research, and establishing partnerships.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing in-depth knowledge of company products to identify profitable business opportunities that generate leads and expand our client base,
- Creating and implementing effective sales strategies, conducting market research, and establishing partnerships,
- Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and sales materials,
- Assessing marketing and sales as well as supplier and vendor operations and recommending improvements as needed,
- Supporting customer service with all documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs), quotes, customer onboarding, etc,
- Presenting business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management,
- Participating in industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate leads and promote our services,
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions,
- Preparing regular sales reports and forecasts to track progress and evaluate performance.

Background, Experiences & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the RFID business development, sales, or a similar role.
- Technical domain of RFID and BLE products.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving targets.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong drive for results.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Languages: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage.
Compensation Package: Competitive base salary (divided over 12 months), plus an annual performance-based commission bonus. A company vehicle is also provided.
