R&D & Quality Control Technician (all genders)
Working as R&D & Quality Control Technician you will be:
- Operating of equipment, including setup of the final inspection machine for end-of-line inspection and, if required, encoding of RFID/NFC inlays and labels in a roll-to-roll process
- Performing quality inspections on RFID/NFC inlays and labels
You will be responsible for:
- Operating equipment, including setup of the final inspection machine for end-of-line inspection and, if required, encoding of RFID/NFC inlays and labels in a roll-to-roll process
- Performing quality inspections of RFID, NFC, and other transponders, including mechanical tests, electrical tests, microscopy, and other label-specific measurements
- Incoming goods inspections of raw materials for RFID/NFC inlays and labels (antennas, chips, films, adhesives, etc.)
- Taking production samples of RFID, NFC, and other transponders, including chip assembly, label sample production, antenna prototype manufacturing, and, if required, (supervised) encoding
- Packaging and shipping of samples and goods
- Overseeing inventory management of raw materials required for chip assembly and label converting, as well as the resulting semi-finished and finished products
Background, Experiences & Skills:
- Technical education or vocational training in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, materials science, laboratory technology, or a related field
- First experience in a laboratory, quality control, or industrial production environment is preferred
- Basic understanding of RFID, NFC, electronics, or transponder technologies is an advantage
- Experience with quality inspections, measurements, and test procedures (mechanical and/or electrical)
- Familiarity with handling raw materials, components, and incoming goods inspections
- Experience working with machines or production equipment in a manufacturing or lab environment
- Ability to follow documented procedures and work with precision and attention to detail
- Comfortable with manual assembly and sample preparation tasks
- Basic computer skills (documentation, test reports, data entry)
- Team-oriented, reliable, well-organized, and quality-focused working style
- Ability to understand spoken and written German and to communicate effectively in German in a professional environment
- Basic English proficiency
