Field Application Engineer (all genders)

Working as Field Application Engineer you will be:

  • Playing an essential role in evaluating product solutions as per internal and external requirements, managing the transfer of market intelligence into product development and to support the sales team, the quality team and the customers with pre - and post-sales support.
  • Supporting the product management team in terms of external and internal product qualification, product requirement specification and product data management.

You will be responsible for:

  • Technical pre - and post-sales support (on-site in region if required)
    • Provide best product solutions based on the existing product portfolio or new product developments.
    • Evaluating product solutions as per internal and external requirements.
    • Provide and apply accurate and efficient technical and practical solutions to solve customer issues.
  • Interprets market / requirements and translates those requirements into product development targets.
  • Monitor the technical performance of the company’s current products.
  • On-site surveys and POC.
  • Inform and train local Sales Managers on general product specifications in the pre-sales phase.
  • Foster internal knowledge of the RFID ecosystem and end use applications.
  • Establishes and maintains business and technical relationships with industry partners, solution providers, consultancy companies and systems integrators, to provide and obtain information and encourage development.

Background/Experiences:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field with 2–5 years of experience in a similar role (Field Application Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or Solutions Engineer).
  • Knowledge of RFID technology, wireless communication, embedded systems, or IoT.
  • Strong understanding of RF (Radio Frequency), analog/digital circuits, and signal processing.
  • Familiarity with RFID protocols, wireless communication standards (Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, etc.).
  • Understanding of B2B environments and working with industrial clients.

Languages: Fluent English and good German skills
Special Requirements: Travel for work from time to time
Package: Base salary/12 months
